Salary: $125,000 annually

Position Overview
Providence Seaside Hospital is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while providing compassionate, patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders.
• Operate and maintain various ultrasound equipment.
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adjust imaging techniques based on patient needs and clinical conditions.
• Provide patient-focused care while considering age-specific and special needs.
• Follow departmental procedures, clinical standards, and safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality and patient safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Education sufficient to meet applicable licensing and certification requirements.
• Oregon Sonographer License or Oregon Sonographer Temporary License required upon hire.
• BLS – American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ARDMS Certification required within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• Diagnostic ultrasound clinical experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.
• Previous hospital or healthcare diagnostic imaging experience.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and equipment.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.

Ideal Candidate: A skilled Ultrasound Technologist with strong diagnostic imaging experience, excellent patient-care skills, and the required Oregon licensing and ARDMS credentials.
