Laboratory Supervisor

We are looking for a strategic Laboratory Supervisor to oversee chemical and validation labs for a premiere surface-finishing client of Randstad’s in Bohemia, NY. This position commands accountability for all laboratory performance metrics, compliance profiles, and the direct management of a dedicated technical laboratory team.

salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Supervise and orchestrate daily operational workflows for laboratory technicians across chemical tracking and product evaluation centers.

• Direct compliance benchmarks and validation profiles to seamlessly support NADCAP, AS9100, and ISO 17025 certification architectures.

• Audit metallurgical surface treatment processing metrics and implement data analyses to refine process stability and reduce bath downtime.

• Function as the principal subject-matter expert during customer quality reviews and external agency inspections.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
