Job Description Job Description The Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing JetEx Freight heavy diesel-powered vehicles and equipment within a small team environment. This position focuses on ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently through expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and quality assurance practices. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics on heavy duty diesel engines and related systems Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify faults Conduct repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance Implement quality assurance checks to maintain high service standards Collaborate closely with a small team to coordinate repair workflows Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy duty diesel mechanics Preferred Qualifications Technical diploma in diesel mechanics or related field Company Description JetEx Freight is a 24/7 trucking company located in Grand Prairie Tx it has 100 plus trucks and 175 plus dry van trailers with a 5 bay mechanic shop to keep there equipment up to DOT standards.
