SENIOR COOK (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Position Overview Location: Gladwin Community Schools, 401 North Bowery Avenue, Gladwin, MI 48624. (Online applications only.) Schedule: Full time and part time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Schedules may vary based on position. More details upon interview. Pay: $15.75 to $16.75 per hour. Requirements: Three years of prior cooking experience. Responsibilities Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director. Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes. Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled routine cleaning. Store, label, and date food items according to policy; help maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products. Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing required documentation, reports, and logs. Assist in cross‑training employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Three years of prior cooking experience.
