Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). RTO must be included at time of submission.

Contract duration will be specified in the agreement. The facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required.
• Current and valid nursing license.
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP.
• Certifications preferred: AWHONN Advanced.
• Experience in labor and postpartum care is required.
• Must be willing to float between like units.
• Charting system: Epic.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and manage complications as necessary.
• Assist in deliveries and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care and patient progress accurately in the electronic charting system.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation requirement is 36 hours. No floating to other units is permitted for local candidates.
