About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified IMC RN in St. Louis, Missouri, 63367!

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down/PCU setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, and insulin drips
• Manage patients requiring trach vents, arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes
• Float to lower-acuity floors within service line as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Fulfill weekend rotation requirements, which may include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday nights on an every-other-weekend basis

• Active RN license in Missouri (MO) or a qualifying compact license matching permanent residence; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of Step Down/PCU/IMC experience
• Bedside experience within the last 6 months required
• ACLS , BLS/BCLS , and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Prior experience with vasopressor management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience caring for patients requiring mechanical ventilation support via tracheostomy

• Work in a 233-bed acute care facility with a structured Step Down environment and a manageable 1:4 patient ratio
• Complimentary on-site parking available for all staff
