Cath Lab Technician

Job Details

• Pay: $76/Hour
• Shift: 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• Work Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• On-Call: Every 5th weekend (Friday–Sunday) and 1 weekday per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and maintain the cardiac catheterization laboratory for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures.
• Assist physicians and clinical staff during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, instruments, and supplies.
• Operate and assist with specialized Cath Lab equipment during procedures.
• Assist with conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as required and within scope of practice.
• Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Monitor and document hemodynamic data and patient information during procedures.
• Ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are available before, during, and after procedures.
• Communicate relevant patient conditions and procedural information to the physician and clinical team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment in accordance with infection-control standards.
• Assist with post-procedure patient care, equipment breakdown, cleaning, and room turnover.
• Accurately document procedures, supplies, equipment use, and patient-related information.
