Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an impactful opportunity as an onsite Occupational Therapist serving students in the North Hollywood area. This full-time contract position extends across the academic year, beginning August 11th, 2026, and concluding June 4th, 2027. You'll work closely with students at multiple school sites, making a tangible difference in their daily lives and supporting their success.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials for school-based work
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of at least 40 students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
- Commitment to working onsite with flexibility to travel between multiple school locations
Your Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ needs and develop individualized intervention plans to foster academic and life skills
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs and school-based objectives
- Document progress, maintain up-to-date records, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff to provide insights and recommendations for classroom strategies
- Serve as an advocate for student accessibility and inclusion across school environments
