Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to specialize in home infusion pharmacy within a controlled, patient-focused environment. The role is a contract assignment based in Philadelphia, PA, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for 8+ weeks. You will work alongside a pharmacy technician in a low-volume setting, allowing for focused attention on sterile compounding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized sterile medications, including IV fluids, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques.
• Verify the accuracy and safety of all sterile preparations.
• Ensure compliance with USP and USP standards to maintain patient safety and quality.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians during preparation processes.
• Maintain and monitor cleanroom equipment to meet regulatory standards.
• Perform final inspections of compounded medications before distribution.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
• At least one year of recent sterile compounding experience, preferably in home infusion.
• Strong computer skills to manage electronic records and support pharmacy operations.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work effectively in a low-volume, collaborative environment.
