Interns work as the primary care doctor on many cases, manage emergencies and complex situations, and perform a wide range of procedures through hands‑on training, laboratory sessions, and didactic rounds. Responsibilities Serve as primary case manager with appropriate mentorship and client communication Participate in case discussions, topic rounds, radiology and morbidity‑mortality rounds Engage in daily cage‑side rounds and weekly case‑based presentations Attend laboratory courses (ultrasound, bandaging, cadaver, and “tubes” labs) to practice procedural skills Manage a variety of clinical cases across emergency, specialty, and general practice rotations Eligibility and Commitment Interns are expected to complete one full academic year of rotations, developing clinical competence, client communication, and critical decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
