Phlebotomist - IOP

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Milford, Connecticut patient service center. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient data, and delivering customer service across a flexible part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and other specialized analyses
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or equivalent certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
