Job Summary The Shipping Clerk provides primary administrative support for the Shipping Department and is the first point of contact for all inbound carriers arriving at the Fairless Hills facility. This position coordinates truck arrivals, directs drivers to the appropriate loading location, maintains shipping documentation, and ensures accurate communication between warehouse operations, Customer Service, Transportation, and carriers. Reporting directly to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk plays a critical role in supporting safe, efficient, and on-time customer shipments while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. Duties and Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate truck arrivals, loading appointments, and shipping priorities. Serve as the primary contact for inbound drivers, carriers, and transportation inquiries. Check drivers in, verify shipment information, and direct them to assigned loading locations. Enter, update, and maintain shipping transactions using SAP or other business systems. Prepare, process, and maintain Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipping records, and related documentation. Monitor shipping schedules, dock availability, and shipment status. Communicate shipment changes, delays, and scheduling updates to Customer Service, Transportation, and warehouse personnel.
