This leadership roleis responsible foroverseeing the rehabilitation program, mentoring a multidisciplinary therapy team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. Reporting:This position collaborates closely with facility leadership, nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support clinical excellence and operational performance. Role Overview Lead and manage the daily operations of the rehabilitation department Supervise, mentor, and support Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, assistants, and therapy aides Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, including documentation standards Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care Develop and oversee individualized care plans and support PDPM processes Monitor productivity, clinical outcomes, and departmental performance metrics Participate in audits, care conferences, and leadership meetings Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment WhatWe’reLooking For Active California license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology, in good standing Minimum of one year of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility isrequired Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology (or higher) Prior leadership experience within a rehabilitation department preferred Strong knowledge of PDPM, Medicare, and skilled nursing facility regulations Experience with EMR systems and regulatory compliance Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to foster teamwork, professional growth, and clinical excellence Passion for serving the geriatric population What We Offer (Terms and Conditions Apply) Competitive salary Hiring, and retention bonus programs PaidOrientation Licensure renewal and continuing education unit (CEU)assistancefor eligible full-time therapists Supportive leadership team with ongoing clinical mentorship Career growth and professional development opportunities Collaborative, patient-centered team culture Optional PRN or on-call opportunities at nearby facilities, based on availability and operational needs Additionalbenefits available based on employment status and eligibility Equal Employment Opportunity Our company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
