Principal/Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid surveyors in setting up and operating surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and levels.
- Assist in gathering field data, including measurements, elevations, and site features.
- Help in preparing and maintaining survey sites by clearing obstructions and setting up markers or stakes.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on survey equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Document survey data, sketches, and observations accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with the survey team and other construction personnel to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications
Required
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Knowledge working in a professional environment
- Personality with solid organizational skills
- Handle work proactively with passion and enthusiasm
- Willingness to work outside
- Extremely meticulous attention to detail
