Automotive Mechanic

As an Automotive Mechanic, you will perform the following duties: Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine servicing of vehicles and equipment to keep systems operating smoothly System Repairs: Repair engines, cooling systems, suspension components, electrical systems, and driveline parts Safety Inspections: Complete official inspections, apply required documentation, and ensure compliance with state standards Field Service: Provide emergency road service and make necessary adjustments or repairs in field environments Record Keeping: Maintain equipment records, prepare reports, and assist with identifying needed parts and supplies Team Support: Demonstrate repair methods and assist other mechanics with major repairs Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of experience in the automotive mechanic trade; or Completion of an approved apprenticeship; or Any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities. Special Requirements: This position requires possession of a current and valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license. This position requires possession of a valid Class 1 Inspection Mechanic certificate or equivalent that allows inspection for Class 1 vehicles. Additional Requirements: You will be responsible for providing your own mechanics toolbox and basic tool set. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Veterans: Pennsylvania law (51 Pa.
