Heavy Equipment Operator – Kingdom City, MOThe Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating equipment used in underground utility construction, including excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and general jobsite support.Key Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, plows, dozers, trenchers, skid steers, and hydro-vacs.Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and other utility installation work.Load, unload, inspect, and operate equipment safely and efficiently.Identify and work safely around existing underground utilities.Read and interpret utility maps, construction plans, and job layouts.Complete equipment inspections, daily logs, and job documentation.Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures and participate in jobsite safety meetings.Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, and crew members.Assist and mentor laborers as needed.Required Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience in utility construction or a related field.Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record.Ability to safely operate at least one major piece of construction equipment.Ability to read utility maps, blueprints, and job plans.Ability to pass required background check and drug screening.Preferred Qualifications:Underground utility construction experience.High school diploma or GED.OSHA 10 or related safety training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
