Overview Employer Industry: Aviation Training Services Why consider this job opportunity: Opportunity to work with a leading provider of technical and engineering services to the U.S. government Collaborative work environment with a multidisciplinary team Engage in meaningful training services that contribute to the safety of air traffic control Potential for career advancement within a large organization with over 25,000 employees Required certifications provide professional development opportunities Remote Pilot Operator position allows for a dynamic training experience Responsibilities Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system during air traffic controller training exercises Simulate pilot actions and communication in response to student commands Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology Complete required certifications for classroom and lab performance as a Remote Pilot Operator Collaborate with a team of multimedia developers, quality assurance personnel, and subject matter experts Qualifications Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals Clear verbal communication skills to convey information effectively U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications Experience and certification in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab Working knowledge of FAAO JO 7110.65 Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Basic familiarity with pilot/controller communications or phraseology Effective team-building skills
