Clinic Care Coordinator (Case Manager)

Contract role for Clinic Care Coordinator (Case Manager) for our client in Philadelphia, PA.

Position Details: CT Technologist - Philadelphia, PA Location: Philadelphia, PA, 19104 Project Duration: 3 Months Contract CHOP Main Hospital 3401 Civic Center Blvd Philadelphia, PA, 19104

Essential Functions

• Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations
• Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including assisting radiologists with biopsies, cardiac CT, CT Angiograms, and post-processing.
• Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation
• Operate CT equipment and select technical factors
• Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.
• Document all related data.
• Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.

Other Responsibilities

• Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.
• Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
• Resolve and escalate complex issues.
• Orient and train fellow staff technologists.
• Develop and deliver training and in-service presentations.
• Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.
• Other shifts as assigned
• All other duties as assigned

Education

• High School Diploma / GED - Required
• Technical Diploma - Radiology Program - Required

Work Experience:

Pediatric Experience - Preferred

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:

• Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - within 12 months Required OR Computed Tomography (CT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 12 months Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through on organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross) upon hire - Required

Skills

• Basic knowledge of computed tomography imaging
• Basic knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS)
• Basic knowledge of radiology information systems
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Intermediate proficiency with office software (MS Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
