Multi-Modality Tech

Our client, a leading health system in Lakewood, CO, is seeking a Multi-Modality Tech to provide quality patient care within two or more medical imaging departments. In this role, you will perform high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and adhering to safe radiation practices.

Responsibilities:

• Operate various imaging equipment and position patients for different exams.
• Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and serve as a role model for other associate technologists.
• Perform imaging procedures, ensuring safety for self, patients, and all other individuals.
• Produce quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provide information and instruction to patients and/or families regarding procedures and respond to their physical and emotional needs.
• Perform technologist duties of other registered modalities as assigned by management.
• Observe patients and equipment during procedures, reporting/documenting unusual occurrences and recording patients' conditions.
• Notify supervisor of equipment problems and log service calls/problems per department procedure.

Requirements:

Required:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• One (1) year imaging experience
• Registered Radiology Technologist: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT), R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly

Preferred:

• Associate Degree
• Bachelor Degree

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $31.48 - $53.02/hour
