Moore- ResourceOne Division is currently looking for a Web Press Helper in our commercial Team. Job Summary: The responsibility of the press helper is to follow the instructions of the assistant and operator to learn the proceeds to produce high quality printed materials, according to the daily production schedules and client specifications.Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities:Assist the printing press operator in setting up and running the pressLoad and unload paper, ink, and other materials onto the pressPerform routine maintenance on the pressMount printing plates to press cylinders.Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standardsFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaPerforms tasks within acceptable limits for quality, quantity, sanitation and timeliness of completion, paying particular attention to prevent and eliminate costly errors.Checks and inspects material received from prior operations to verify accuracy and conformance to customer's specifications.Prepares make-ready for upcoming jobs such as staging material for upcoming jobs Learns basic machine operation.Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding areaUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsGood attendance is a MUSTAll other duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: ability to read and understand a job ticket, layout sheet, artwork and other specifications.Previous printing/press experience on a sheet-fed press is encouragedMust possess the ability to operate basic hand tools.Familiarity with various types of printing presses and related equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Able to as part of a teamAble to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentMust be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.Flexible to work overtime and weekends as neededEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.1-3 years of experience in production environment a plusPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at timesRequired to bend, reach, and move about the facility Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and move about the facility  Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.For more information and details, contact our recruiting team at View phone number on ziprecruiter.com or email Christy - View email address on ziprecruiter.com You can also apply online at Job Listings - Moore Digital Print and Mail Center, Tulsa JobsMoore Tulsa Digital Print and Mail Center is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
