Accounts Payable Manager

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager for our client, a highly regarded technology group in New Jersey. This is a remote, full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offering $40.00 per hour.
We are seeking a hands-on accounting professional who can step in quickly and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment . The ideal candidate brings broad transactional accounting experience spanning accounts payable, accounts receivable, international payments, invoicing, payroll reporting, and cash application.



POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounting Specialist will support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple functions, with a particular emphasis on accounts payable and multi-currency international payments . This individual will also manage contractor timecards, invoicing, payroll reporting, accounts receivable, and cash application.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is comfortable managing a high volume of transactions, balancing competing priorities, and working independently while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.



RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage high-volume accounts payable activities, including invoice processing and payment administration.
• Process and coordinate multi-currency international payments .
• Review, track, and manage contractor timecards to support accurate billing and payroll reporting.
• Prepare and process client invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Support payroll reporting and related accounting activities.
• Perform accounts receivable functions, including payment tracking and account reconciliation.
• Process and accurately apply incoming payments through cash application .
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, timecard, and account discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Work across multiple accounting priorities in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial processing.
• Assist with additional accounting and reporting needs as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3-5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience with accounts payable required.
• Experience processing multi-currency and international payments required.
• Hands-on experience with contractor timecards, invoicing, payroll reporting, accounts receivable, and cash application.
• Experience working with NetSuite strongly preferred .

COMPENSATION
This position offers a pay rate of $40/hour plus a comprehensive benefits package!
