Description:

Guide the overall strategy and advancement of the Employee Benefits practice. Collaborate with executive leaders, production teams, and account management to ensure alignment with local practice objectives. Assist in creating and executing strategies that enhance client retention, foster revenue growth, and improve service delivery and operational consistency. Act as a subject matter expert and resource for Employee Benefits teams throughout the organization. Support the retention of critical clients by aiding teams in providing strategic, consultative benefit solutions. Assist with intricate client scenarios, renewals, escalations, and strategic planning discussions. Ensure that clients receive tailored recommendations aligned with their business objectives, employee requirements, risk profiles, and budgets. Strengthen client relationships by advocating for proactive service, education, and long-term planning. Collaborate with producers to spot growth prospects within the Employee Benefits practice. Facilitate new business development through strategic planning, presentations, solution design, and insights into market trends. Promote cross-selling opportunities across benefits, risk management, property and casualty, retirement, and specialized lines. Contribute to the creation of sales tools, resources, and best practices. Aid in enhancing the organization’s Employee Benefits products, services, resources, and delivery model. Identify avenues for improving workflows, client experiences, team efficiency, and service consistency. Work together with corporate centers of excellence to provide resources, technology, compliance expertise, and specialized support to regional teams. Keep track of industry trends, updates from carriers, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may influence clients and teams. Mentor, coach, and provide support to Employee Benefits leaders, producers, account managers, and service teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, entrepreneurship, and ongoing improvement. Assist in developing training, educational programs, and professional development opportunities for Employee Benefits staff. Encourage regional teams to uphold their local cultures while utilizing shared corporate resources and best practices. EB Compliance – Serve as the business liaison for the EB Compliance team. Provide recommendations regarding any issues that may affect the business. Mergers & Acquisitions – Engage in the acquisition process and assist in integrating new Corporate EB acquisitions, particularly with our Private Equity firms. Specialty Practices – Offer strategic guidance for all specialty practices while directly managing Communications & Design, Global Benefits, Pharmacy, Value-Based care, and Health & Performance. Finance – Collaborate with Finance and Accounting on commissions. Identify and negotiate while cooperating with the COO on budget development and ongoing management.

Requirements:

15 - 20 years of experience in Employee Benefits within an insurance brokerage. Skilled in leading teams by both direct reports and influencing important stakeholders. Willingness to travel as required. Demonstrated proficiency in building and maintaining relationships, particularly with senior leadership, carriers, and vendors. Experience in crafting strategies for client retention and revenue generation.
