NOW HIRING FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER FOR SPRING CREEK ASSISTED LIVING The Housekeeper cleans and sanitizes rooms for existing residents and prepares rooms for new residents. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. performs housekeeping, laundry, janitorial tasks and minor repairs as assigned monitors inventory of chemicals, supplies and equipment needed for laundry and housekeeping tasks familiarizes self with cleaning schedules of residents logs janitorial and repair requests and ensures their completion cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor changes linens weekly or as needed cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork washes windows, door panels, and sills empties wastebaskets transports trash and waste to disposal area replenishes bathroom supplies as needed QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or 0-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience ability to multitask ability to be flexible with their schedule genuine interest in the elderly PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee: is regularly required to talk or hear is frequently required to walk and stand must often use their hands to grasp and hold objects is regularly required to sit must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job: the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles the employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and toxic or caustic chemicals the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Full-time position; Tuesday - Sunday 9am - 5 pm #J-18808-Ljbffr
