As a Housekeeper  at Accel at Willowbend in Plano, TX,  responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the facility. This position performs routine and specialized cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and other designated spaces in accordance with facility policies, infection prevention and control standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned areas.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.

• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces and maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility.

• Empty trash and proper disposal of waste according to facility procedures.

• Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as needed.

• Safely operate housekeeping equipment and properly use cleaning chemicals and PPE.

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.

• Prepare resident rooms for new admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Respond promptly to spills, environmental hazards, and maintenance concerns.

• Maintain clean, organized housekeeping carts, closets, equipment, and supply areas.

• Respect resident privacy, dignity, belongings, and personal space while performing assigned duties.

• Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

• Complete assigned cleaning schedules, checklists, and other required documentation.

• Perform deep cleaning and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Safety Precautions

• Knowledge and understanding on how to properly use cleaning chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets.

• Use proper safety equipment and tools to identify safety hazards and abide by community’s safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in laundry operations preferred.

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial laundry experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect resident privacy.
