ZimZee Recruiting is looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join a manufacturing organization focused on operational excellence. In this role, you will identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance production performance, operational efficiency, service quality, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement methodologies, and project management, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive measurable business results.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, operations, and project management within a manufacturing environment
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience analyzing operational data, identifying root causes, and implementing sustainable process improvements
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, workflows, and operational practices to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, productivity, quality, and overall performance
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and other proven methodologies
• Collect, interpret, and analyze operational data to identify trends, eliminate inefficiencies, and determine root causes of production challenges
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders, establish project objectives, and drive successful execution of improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement action plans with measurable deliverables, performance indicators, and success metrics to achieve operational goals
• Partner with production teams to implement Lean principles, communicate process changes effectively, and support organizational change management efforts
• Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure expected outcomes are achieved and sustained while supporting company objectives related to safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, efficiency, and operational performance
