Overview

Pay: $80,000-$85,000 per year

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $5,000 depending on experience - to be discussed at interview

Schedule: Full-time, year-round work

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Assistant Service Manager to support our service leadership team and help manage day-to-day operations for our residential HVAC Service Technicians . This position reports directly to the HVAC Service Manager and plays a key role in ensuring high-quality service, strong technician performance, and excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

As an HVAC Assistant Service Manager , you will assist with managing the service team and supporting the daily operations of the HVAC service department.

• Assist with supervising and developing the HVAC service team , including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

• Help coordinate technician schedules, daily assignments, and service priorities

• Support the Service Manager in maintaining efficient operations and high-quality service delivery

• Monitor technician performance, workmanship, and customer satisfaction

• Ensure materials, parts, and equipment are ordered and available for scheduled jobs

• Review departmental reports including inventory, tools, vehicles, and service metrics

• Conduct job site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met

• Review payroll records to ensure technicians are properly compensated

• Ensure technicians have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete service calls

• Support dispatch operations to ensure appropriate technician assignment and scheduling

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service field experience

• Plumbing experience highly preferred
• Supervisory background highly preferred

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suites preferred)

• Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems, service operations, and technician workflow
