Per Diem Immunizing Retail Staff Pharmacist - Newark, New Jersey

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, near Atlantic City. This 6-8 week contract position requires a candidate with recent retail pharmacy experience and current New Jersey pharmacist licensure including immunization privileges.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform typical retail pharmacy duties, ensuring accurate dispensing and excellent customer care
Administer immunizations in compliance with New Jersey regulations
Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRx (ERx) system efficiently for prescription processing and inventory management
Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and guidelines
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to provide seamless service during a leave of absence coverage period

Qualifications & Experience:

Active New Jersey Pharmacist license and immunization privileges are mandatory
Recent experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
Proficiency with McKesson ERx preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills to ensure both patient safety and workflow efficiency

Egg Harbor Township, NJ (near Atlantic City)
