About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Services Maintenance Technician with strong hands‐on expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role supports high‐volume wafer fabrication operations and requires deep technical capability, strong problem‐solving skills, and the ability to work safely and effectively in a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain standard operating conditions on assigned production equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and processes to guideline specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance, alignments, calibrations, and repairs
• Resolve equipment and process issues in collaboration with cross‐functional teams
• Update and enhance equipment SOPs as needed
• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness across assigned work areas
• Assist in training technicians on equipment, systems, and processes
• Complete all required certifications, on‐the‐job training, and EHS requirements
• Participate in safety meetings, drills, and incident reporting
• Work primarily on the fab floor (approx. 70% hands‐on tool work)

Required Technical Experience (Non‐Negotiable)

Hands‐On Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance

Candidates must have direct, hands‐on experience with:

• AMAT Centura EPI reactors
• ASM Epsilon EPI reactors
• Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on both tool types
• Tool ownership responsibilities and understanding of process vs. hardware interaction
• Metrology tools maintenance
• Wet benches or acid hoods (manual and automated)
• Epitaxy process fundamentals

Fab Environment Experience

• High‐volume semiconductor manufacturing
• Cleanroom protocols, gowning, contamination control
• Shift operations and safety culture
• Ability to jump into repairs confidently and independently

Job History Requirements

• Stable job history (no frequent job hopping)
• Strong record of reliability, performance, and technical growth
• Previous semiconductor experience

Education & Experience

• Associate degree or technical school certification preferred
• 2+ years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience required
• Equivalent military or industrial maintenance experience may be considered

The facility is located near the Balloon Fiesta Park with mountain views and easy access to major Albuquerque corridors.
