Python Software Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support data processing and application development initiatives, the full-time Python Software Engineer IV will write and deploy Python scripts, optimize SQL workflows, and ensure high-quality code delivery in a collaborative environment, with options for onsite in Menlo Park, CA or remote work within the USA. Key responsibilities Design and deploy efficient Python scripts for parsing and downloading large-scale web datasets Construct and optimize complex SQL queries for downstream data processing and analytics Participate in peer code reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for application sustainability Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering Advanced proficiency in Python development Strong practical experience in Linux environments and shell scripting Solid proficiency in constructing and optimizing SQL queries Virtual Vocations Inc
