Planner III

AbbVie seeks a Planner III to oversee production scheduling, inventory management, and distribution coordination at their Barceloneta facility. The role requires balancing demand forecasting, materials planning, and timely delivery of finished goods across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan annual production schedules incorporating customer demand, lead times, and inventory targets
• Manage materials requirement planning and monitor inventory levels to optimize turnover
• Coordinate with manufacturing and purchasing to ensure on-time production and finished goods delivery
• Process sales orders with lot assignment and manage unplanned orders with delivery commitments
• Support quality systems effectiveness and lead inventory control system enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sciences, or Engineering
• Six years of experience in Materials Management with MRP and inventory control expertise
• Proficiency with computerized inventory control systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and quality systems
• Strong analytical and statistical skills with multi-task management abilities
• Advanced problem-solving and business decision-making capabilities
