• $3/hr Friday–Sunday nights
• $2/hr Saturday–Sunday days

What You’ll Do The Mental Health Therapist provides psychotherapy, assessment, and treatment, including psychoeducation for mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Services include individual therapy, group counseling, life skills sessions, clinical interventions, crisis management, family therapy, and case management. Conducts thorough, accurate psychosocial assessments and maintains clinic records. Provides education on DBT, trauma‑informed care, harm reduction, and service plan documentation. Prepares clinical reports and individualized service plans using electronic documentation software, ensuring compliance with best practices and legal requirements. Maintains knowledge of Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Board of Behavioral Health roles. Conducts brief intervention, individual, family, and group counseling within scope of practice. Redirects behavior and maintains safe milieu as needed. Arranges referrals and placements to community substance‑abuse programs, housing, or employment opportunities. Provides case management services to promote recovery and community reintegration. Conducts crisis interventions and follow‑up. Follows up with leadership on a weekly basis. Develops therapeutic relationships and implements appropriate interventions. Performs other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field. Unrestricted license as a Licensed Mental Health Professional in Arizona (e.g., LMSW, LAC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent). Minimum two years of direct experience in mental health or substance‑abuse treatment, providing psychotherapy to individuals and groups. Knowledge of recovery principles, family‑of‑origin issues, and co‑occurring psychiatric disorders. Experience working with special populations, including serious mental illness, substance‑abuse diagnoses, brain injuries, and individuals over 60. Ability to develop therapeutic relationships. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Vaccination policy: All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated or apply for exemption before start date. It would be great if you had Knowledge of and experience with the AZ Title‑36 legal process. Knowledge of AZ Board of Health. Experience in inpatient, residential, or acute care mental health settings.
