Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Emergency Department Nurse (RN) – Emergency Nursing

Schedule: 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 143 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: TBD

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state Board of Nursing.
• ACLS Certification.
• At least 2 years of ER experience (New Grads not accepted at this time).
• Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience.
• PALS Certification (highly preferred).
• CEN and TNCC Certification (highly preferred).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress. Report any changes or concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and protocols.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.
• Offer emotional support and advocate for patients' rights, ensuring they receive compassionate and respectful care.

• Submission requirements specify that candidates must be in the process of moving to the applicable state.
