Key Skills/Responsibilities
- Culinary Craftsman: Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring every dish meets high standards of quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Kitchen Captain: Lead and assist kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and consistently deliver high-quality food and service.
- Solution Strategist: Anticipate challenges and resolve issues proactively to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
- Clear Communicator: Share information effectively and address concerns from co-workers and guests with professionalism and clarity.
- Organization Operator: Keep the kitchen spotless and well-organized, always meeting sanitation and safety standards.
- Proactive Performer: Take initiative by anticipating needs and acting before issues arise, keeping service seamless.
- Timekeeper of Taste: Manage time wisely to ensure food preparation and service are prompt and on point.
Education & Experience
- At least 1 year of experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
- Food Handlers Certification required. (must comply with State requirements)
- Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining the best course of action.
- A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions.

PROPERTY INFORMATION: Located less than 5 minutes' drive from Palm Beach International Airport, this hotel offers airport shuttle services. Features include an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. A flat-screen cable TV and a seating area are found in the rooms at the Embassy Suites by Hilton West Palm Beach Central. Rooms are also equipped with a microwave and a small refrigerator. A fitness center is available to the guests of Embassy Suites by Hilton West Palm Beach Central. A business center and a hot tub are also on site. A cooked-to-order breakfast is available daily. The on-site restaurant, Atrium, serves American cuisine for lunch and dinner. West Palm Beach city center is less than 10 minutes' drive from the hotel. The Coral Sky Amphitheater, an open-air venue, is 8 miles away.
