Environmental Services Tech

EVS Tech Part time 16 hours a week. Evening shift.

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, healthy and welcoming environment in patient and non-patient areas to ensure that Ridgeview customers and families receive the highest quality of services in a caring and compassionate manner.

Job Functions

1. Cleans all patient and non-patient areas to high standards cleanliness.
   
   
2. Follows all infection control policies and standards to minimize the transmission of microorganisms.
   
   
3. Follows proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protection equipment for the safety of patients, Environmental Services Tech and staff.
   
   
4. Promotes and maintains positive internal and external working relationships.
   
   
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
   
   

Minimum Education/Work Experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
  
  
• Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
  
  
• Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
  
  
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
  
  
• Ability to perform strenuous work under time constraints
  
  
• Ability to pay close attention to detail
  
  
• Basic computer skills
  
  
• Ability to understandverbal and written instructions in the English language and respond accordingly in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  
  
• Previous healthcare, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience

Compensation

Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
