This full-time contract position offers the unique chance to provide direct therapy services on-site to preschool, elementary, and middle school students, covering three leave of absence assignments. Each caseload averages approximately 55 students, providing a dynamic, manageable environment for making a lasting impact. The assignment durations vary, with start dates as early as September and strong potential to continue through the full academic year due to ongoing needs.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current, active California SLP License
• Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering therapeutic services to students with diverse communication needs
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Regular progress monitoring and participation in IEP meetings
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams at assigned campuses
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state policies
• Communicating effectively with families, teachers, and support staff
