JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Clinet Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking a Manufacturing Technician - Level 2 to join our team in Beltsville, MD . This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

In this job you will:

• Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies.
• Interpret and follow established processes and procedures.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, such as prints, diagrams, specifications, manufacturer manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
• Must be willing to perform work on weekends as requiredMust be willing to work overtime as required.Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• No clearance required to starAble to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation.
• Perform basic math and measurement functions.
• Communicate nonconformances to management and quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operating industrial equipment such as precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
