Arizona Athletic Grounds (“AAG”) is one of the largest youth-oriented sports facilities in the United States, serving millions of visitors per year, providing athletic programming and a variety of special events. AAG’s operational footprint includes a 2,500+ seat outdoor stadium, 24 multi-purpose fields, 62 indoor/beach volleyball courts, 41 pickleball courts, eight baseball/softball diamonds, 16 basketball courts and more!

Position Summary

Guest Services Staff members are the first point of contact for visitors to AAG, and their first impression of AAG. This position will prioritize a “white-glove, guest focused, and hospitality mindset. This position is responsible for managing activities in outdoor tents, the lobby area, entry points, and the Box Office providing information in person and on the phone, directing guests, and assisting employees

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for all guests, and visitors entering Arizona Athletic Grounds through various entry points
• Deliver a high-touch, hospitality-driven guest experience with a welcoming and professional presence
• Work in front desk operations including check-in/check-out, credentialing, and access control
• Provide accurate information and directions regarding events, amenities, schedules, and facility services
• Coordinate with internal departments (Security, Operations, Event Services) to ensure seamless guest flow and issue resolution
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with urgency, professionalism, and discretion
• Support VIP guests, clients, and partners with elevated service and personalized attention
• Proactive approach to policy enforcement (e.g. no food & beverage, no pets, no chairs)
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance the overall experience.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with diverse audiences
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a “solution-oriented” approach
• Comfortable using basic office systems, scheduling tools, and communication platforms
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• High level of reliability, accountability, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate respectfully with all visitors, coworkers, vendors, supervisors, managers, customers and client representatives.
• Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent/GED (Required)
• Valid driver’s license (required for golf cart and other equipment use)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels and busy environments.
• Will work outdoors and indoors in high/low temperature climates inside or outside at events at AAG.
• Sitting, walking, standing for periods of time, reaching, kneeling, and bending.
• Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 5-20 lbs.
• Hours of work may vary from 6:00a/7:30a to 2:00-2:30p Mon through Fri, and may vary based on business needs.
