Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Brazing Welder for our client near Decatur, AL. In this role, you will perform metal joining operations by heating metal parts and applying a filler material to create a strong bond without melting the base metals. Reads blueprints, prepares materials, inspects finished work, and uses brazing equipment to meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Read blueprints and work instructions.
Clean and prepare metal surfaces.
Use oxy-acetylene torches or induction heating equipment.
Apply filler metal to join components.
Inspect finished joints for quality.
Work with steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and other metals.
Base metals are melted and fused together.
Creates a stronger structural joint for many applications.
Common in manufacturing, construction, and fabrication.

Requirements

2 year of experience in a Welding in a Manufacturing Environment (required)
High School Diploma/GED or technical school graduate
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work occasional overtime
Steel-toe boots required
Must pass background and drug screening
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
