Veterinary Assistant

Hiring Veterinary Assistants with Experience! We are looking for hard‑working, self‑motivated individuals to join our Veterinary Assistant team. Full‑time positions include nights and weekends. We offer a starting hourly rate of $16–$21 and a benefits package after 90 days. Responsibility Act as an Exam Room Technician, Treatment Room Technician, or Surgery Technician. Obtain client history and assist in exam rooms. Provide client education, administer injections, obtain digital radiographs, and perform treatments as directed by the doctors. Prepare samples for outside laboratories and perform in‑house bloodwork. Prepare patients for surgery and assist in monitoring anesthesia. Required Qualifications One to three years of veterinary assistant experience (preferred). Excellent communication and customer‑service skills. Team player who can work independently and alongside doctors. Proficient with electronic medical records; computer skills are mandatory (experience with EzyVet preferred). Physical ability to lift 40 lb alone and assist with lifting animals over 40 lb. Ability to work long hours, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in bent or squatting positions.
