AI Adoption & Change Manager

Role Summary The AI Adoption & Change Manager sits within Jazwares' IT organization on the AI Team and owns the human side of AI transformation – ensuring the tools and automations the team builds are trusted, learned, and used by the business. The AI Team develops production machine learning systems for pricing, demand forecasting, inventory and supply‑chain optimization, and document‑intelligence systems for licensing, SOPs, vendor governance, and product data. The Manager embeds AI outputs into day‑to‑day workflows across Sales, Finance, Planning, Legal, Licensing, Supply Chain, Operations and IT, creating change plans, conducting stakeholder readiness assessments, designing communication, training, and enablement, and tracking adoption metrics. Duties and Responsibilities Build and update change management plans for each AI/ML initiative. Map stakeholders and assess readiness, identifying sponsorship, capability gaps, and readiness across business areas. Develop and execute communication plans across written, in‑person, and digital channels. Create training materials, playbooks, FAQs, enablement guides, and rollout communications tailored to each user group. Lead training sessions, office hours, demos, and feedback sessions for end users, business owners, and leadership. Partner with business owners to define adoption metrics and track usage, resistance, feedback, and post‑launch issues. Embed AI outputs into day‑to‑day workflows and maintain feedback loops for continuous improvement. Identify adoption risks early—such as lack of trust or poor workflow fit—and work with owners to mitigate them. Maintain clear, timely written and verbal communication across stakeholders, technical contributors, and executive sponsors. Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Organizational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field. Preferred: Master’s Degree or certifications in Prosci/ADKAR, CCMP, Kotter, or related change management methodology. Required Level/Type/Years of Experience 5–7 years of experience in change management, organizational development, transformation, training and enablement, communications, program management, or digital adoption. Experience supporting enterprise technology rollouts (ERP, CRM, BI, workflow, document management, analytics, or automation platforms). Demonstrated cross‑functional stakeholder engagement with senior business leaders. Experience creating and executing structured change management plans across multiple concurrent initiatives. Experience defining adoption metrics, tracking usage and behavior change, and reporting outcomes to business and executive audiences. Hands‑on experience producing adoption artifacts such as training decks, playbooks, FAQs, demos, and rollout communications. Preferred Level/Type/Years of Experience Experience in the toy or consumer products vertical or adjacent verticals such as retail, supply chain, licensing, legal operations, finance, IT, or shared services. Direct experience supporting AI, machine learning, LLM, analytics, or automation adoption, including familiarity with AI‑specific adoption risks. Prosci, ADKAR, CCMP, Kotter, or comparable certification. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Characteristics (KSAOs) Change impact assessment – analyze how new tools change day‑to‑day experience and translate impact into adoption interventions. Stakeholder mapping – identify, segment, and prioritize stakeholders across business units and seniority levels. Communication planning – design communication plans that hit the right channels, cadence, and messaging for each audience. Training and enablement design – create role‑based training that moves users from awareness to confident daily use. Workshop facilitation – run engaging sessions that surface concerns and set clear next steps. Resistance management – recognize early signals of resistance and address them constructively. Adoption measurement – define, instrument, and report on adoption metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Executive and frontline communication – adjust tone and depth for different audiences. Translation and communication – simplify complex technology without losing accuracy. Influence without authority – move work forward across teams through credibility and shared interest. Practical rollout discipline – sequence communication, training, and enablement against launch milestones. Comfort with ambiguity – operate effectively in loosely defined environments. Empathy for end users – base programs on real understanding of user job and constraints. Conscientiousness and ownership – take responsibility for quality and follow through on commitments. Intellectual curiosity and learning orientation – explore unfamiliar domains and stay updated on AI impact. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Characteristics (KSAOs) AI adoption risk familiarity – understand trust, explainability, human review, data quality, model limitations, and workflow fit. Role‑based enablement journeys – design learning paths for executives, owners, power users, and frontline staff. Adoption dashboards and KPI reporting – build dashboards that make adoption visible to leadership. Survey, LMS, and collaboration tools – familiarity with tools used to run large‑scale change programs. AI and LLM literacy – working understanding of LLM concepts including source documents, citations, retrieval, human‑review workflows, and hallucination risk. Partnership with technical teams – collaborate deeply with Data Analysts, AI Engineers, and Product Management without needing deep technical expertise. Recognized change management certification – Prosci, ADKAR, CCMP, Kotter, or comparable. What We Offer Salary Range: $112,000 - $139,000 per year (based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location). Eligibility for an annual performance incentive may apply. Benefits include 100% company‑paid basic medical insurance for employees and dependents, employee basic life and AD&D insurance, a 401(K) retirement program with Jazwares matching up to 4%, short and long‑term disability, and tuition reimbursement. Work environment: flexible schedule with Monday‑Thursday on‑site and optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 fully remote days per year. Time off for vacation and sick leave is available. Jazwares Cares allows up to 16 volunteer hours per year on community service projects.
