CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

Serves as a member contact by phone that is responsible for processing Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions according to National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) operation guidelines. Performs daily ACH settlement and balancing functions with the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB). Completes appropriate forms, resolving member account problems, and answering member questions. Ensures a positive impact on financial performance by attaining balancing, outage, transaction volume and Creating Member Loyalty (CML) goals. Maintains member satisfaction through use of CML skills. Practices and promotes quality in all job duties including form completion, documentation, security, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Maintains a member-oriented focus and professionally resolves ACH errors, including initiating returns and notifications of change (NOC), and manually posting transactions to member accounts. Processes commercial and governmental direct deposits and enrollments. Maintains ACH tracking and spreadsheets. Cross-sells CEFCU products and services.

Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members.

Hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 0-2 years of customer/member service experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong phone communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to learn vendor admin systems related to ACH functions at a proficient level within training period.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate a basic understanding of Regulations and NACHA Rules as they relate to ACH transactions at an acceptable level within training period.

Preferred:
• Accounting classes.
• Knowledge of ACH functions and rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of internet and internet technology including browsers and PC operations.
• Knowledge of CEFCU products and services.

Summary Pay Range

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $18.56 - $21.81.

The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.

Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
