Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

ED RN - Emergency Department

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00–19:30) Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: ~122 visits/day

Requirements:

• Current active state RN license or compact license
• ACLS, BLS required; PALS, TNCC strongly preferred
• 1-2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting system required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Perform critical assessments and interventions for acute and emergency situations.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Maintain safety protocols and manage behavioral health and psychiatric emergencies.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be able to float to other areas if needed.
• Maximum requested time off is 10 days; no RTO allowed during initial weeks.
• Attendance policy strictly enforced; multiple call-offs may result in termination.
