Role Overview

The Senior AI-Enabled DevOps Engineer supports enterprise-scale cloud platforms with a primary focus on Azure DevOps, AKS, and cloud-native automation, while helping evolve DevOps practices through AI-assisted engineering and intelligent automation.

This role combines hands-on DevOps engineering with emerging AI-enabled capabilities that enhance productivity, reliability, and operational insight—without replacing core engineering fundamentals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Engineer and operate AKS platforms, including cluster configuration, upgrades, scaling, and resilience
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes best practices
• Embed security, policy, and compliance controls into pipelines and platform workflows
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Enable self-service deployment and platform capabilities for application teams
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
• Collaborate with global delivery teams across US, LATAM, and India

AI-Enabled DevOps Capabilities

• Leverage AI copilots and LLM-assisted tools to accelerate:
  • CI/CD pipeline development
  • Infrastructure as Code authoring
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Documentation and runbook creation
• Support intelligent automation for:
  • Deployment validation and rollback analysis
  • Configuration drift detection
  • Incident correlation and remediation recommendations
• Contribute to early agentic workflows, including scripted bots and automated runbooks supporting DevOps operations
• Help evolve DevOps practices toward data-informed and predictive operational models

AI augments delivery efficiency and operational insight; strong DevOps fundamentals remain core to the role.

Required Technical Skills

• Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, artifacts)
• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) with hands-on operational experience
• Infrastructure as Code: ARM, Bicep, Terraform
• Containers & Kubernetes: Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals
• Scripting: PowerShell (required); Bash or Python (preferred)
• Azure Core Services: Networking, identity, compute, and storage
• Monitoring & Observability: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Source Control: Git in enterprise environments

Nice-to-Have / Differentiators

• GitHub Actions or hybrid Azure DevOps / GitHub delivery models
• Experience supporting platform or PaaS teams
• Exposure to FinOps, cost optimization, or usage analytics
• Familiarity with AI platforms, internal copilots, or automation frameworks
• Background in large enterprise or regulated environments

Experience & Profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering
• Proven experience supporting production-grade enterprise platforms
• Strong troubleshooting, systems-thinking, and automation mindset
• Comfortable working in distributed global delivery models
• Clear communicator with a consulting-oriented approach
