Offshore Energy & Marine Paralegal

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Offshore Energy & Marine Litigation Paralegal for a leading, full-service law firm client. This is an onsite position located in Houston, Texas. Position Overview This role offers the opportunity to support a dynamic litigation team handling complex offshore energy, marine, and admiralty matters. The Paralegal will assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and resolution. Perks Competitive compensation starting at $90,000+ DOE Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage Opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm serving Fortune 500 and national clients Exposure to complex, high‑impact offshore energy and maritime litigation matters Collaborative, growth‑oriented team environment with strong professional development support Responsibilities Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and case resolution Prepare and file court documents, including pleadings, motions, and exhibits Draft and respond to discovery requests such as interrogatories and requests for production Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics Review and summarize depositions, technical records, and case‑related materials Manage case files, litigation calendars, and electronic discovery processes Qualifications Experience supporting litigation matters, preferably within offshore energy, maritime, admiralty, or complex commercial litigation Strong knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, including discovery and trial support Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary starting at $90,000+ DOE, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, retirement options, and additional firm‑sponsored benefits.
