Assignment Details

Location: Potsdam, New York

Provider Type: Physician (MD/DO)

Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Rural Setting

Coverage Type: Scheduled Coverage + Required Weekday and Weekend Call

Expected Duration: Approximately 6 Months, Ongoing as Needed

EMR: Epic

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $370/hr, Overtime: $480/hr, Holiday: $480/hr, Night Call: $930/shift,

Weekend Call: $2405 per 24 hours, Call Back: $465/hr.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

Day Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Weekday Call: 3:00 PM-7:00 AM

Weekend Call: Friday 7:00 AM-Monday 7:00 AM

Current Coverage Dates

November 5-13, 2026

Weekend Call: November 6-8, 2026

Weekday Call: November 10 and November 12, 2026

December 21-30, 2026

Holiday Call: December 24-27, 2026

Holiday Call Coverage Is an Urgent Need

Patient Population / Volume

Approximately 10-15 Patients Per Day

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Inpatient Anesthesia Coverage

Provide General Anesthesia

Provide OB Anesthesia Coverage

Perform and Manage Epidurals

Provide Anesthesia for Scheduled Surgical Cases

May Supervise CRNAs

Perform Additional Anesthesia Duties as Assigned

Must Be Comfortable Practicing in a Rural Setting

Clinical Environment / Support

Acute Care Hospital

CRNA Supervision May Be Required

Epic EMR

Requirements

Board Certified in Anesthesiology Preferred

Board Eligible Candidates May Be Considered

Active New York Medical License in Hand - Required

BLS - Required

ACLS - Required

PALS - Required

BLS, ACLS, and PALS Must Be AHA or RQI as Applicable

Epic Experience - Required

Residents and Fellows Not Accepted

Credentialing

Emergency Privileges

Current and Complete Work History Required

No Unexplained Work History Gaps of 30 Days or More

Physician Statement Required for Any Malpractice History, Including Dismissed Cases
