At Sunrise Family Credit Union, our focus is our members. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and member-focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Loan Clerk. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to our Loan Department and guide our members through the lending process. What You’ll Do (Essential Duties) As a Loan Clerk, you will support the daily operations of our lending team and serve as a key point of contact for our members. Member Service: Answer incoming calls and assist members in person with general questions about loans, products, and payments. Application Intake: Take loan applications over the phone or in person, ensuring all information is complete and accurate. Application Processing: Receive, review, and distribute indirect and online loan applications to appropriate loan officers. Lending Support: Assist loan officers with documentation, member communication, and preparing loan proceeds. Account Transactions: Process loan payments and assist members with inquiries and transactions. Lien Management: Process and release liens on paid-off collateralized loans while maintaining accurate records. Financial Administration: Assist with balancing and reconciling Loan Department general ledger accounts. Records & Correspondence: Prepare member letters, maintain organized loan files, and manage the file room retention workflow. Compliance & Privacy: Maintain absolute member confidentiality and strictly follow all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements. Team Collaboration: Complete special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by the Chief Lending Officer or CEO. Experience (Bonus): Previous experience in a credit union, banking, lending, or financial institution setting is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person!
