Ultrasound Technologist
The Ultrasound Department is equipped with advanced imaging technology and dedicated to providing high-quality care through various ultrasound procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and general ultrasound examinations, including obstetric studies.
- Conduct vascular studies such as carotid, DVT, ABI, and TBI.
- Utilize GE Logiq E10 ultrasound machines and Parks FloLab Medical Doppler equipment.
- Document procedures and findings accurately in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification through ARDMS is required.
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification through ARDMS is required.
- Obstetric certification (OB/GYN) through ARDMS is required.
- Vascular experience is preferred.
Technical Requirements
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, and PACS systems, particularly SECTRA.
- Ability to perform six to eight ultrasound exams in an eight-hour shift.
Shift Details
The position requires availability from Wednesday through Sunday, 1500 to 2330. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
Dress Code
Personal scrubs are to be worn; scrubs will be provided if needed in the operating room.
Orientation and Training
Department-specific orientation will be provided to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
