Join our team, get a consistent schedule, and say goodbye to working weekends, holiday shifts, and being constantly on-call.The DIS Difference …No Nights or Weekends!Competitive Pay!No on-call!Work independentlyProfessional Development & Continuing EducationTravel Reimbursement for eligible employeesYour Responsibilities:Perform a full-range of vascular ultrasound studies to include carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams while following established protocols.Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure optimal imaging and exceptional patient experience.Obtain a thorough patient history and present key findings to the interpreting physician.Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.Conduct work in a sterile environment based on established protocols and client processes.Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment safely, ensuring routine maintenance is up-to-date and immediately reporting any malfunctions or concerns.Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives to ensure continuous quality improvement of care.Travel to assigned client locations in a safe manner.Maintain standards of ethical professionalism at all times.Other duties as assigned.You're a great fit if …You are a top-notch Vascular Sonographer passionate about patient care.You are detail-oriented and are passionate about producing high-quality images.You are an effective communicator with patients, physicians, and colleagues.You adapt easily to a variety of clinical settings and patient needs.You stay up-to-date with clinical advancements in echocardiography and have a desire for continuing education.You take pride in your work and providing each patient with quality care and comfort.Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daylight HoursMinimum QualificationsActive RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) CertificationSuccessful completion of an accredited ultrasound program2 years of Vascular Ultrasound experienceDemonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging. Experience in procedures a plus.Active Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationAbility to push/pull heavy medical equipment.Valid Driver's LicensePreferred QualificationsDual Certification in Echo & Vascular ImagingActive RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) CertificationWorking Conditions:Work is performed at outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician office settings with moderate to high patient volume.
