The Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our Urgent Care team.
As an Urgent Care Physician, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients while collaborating with advanced practice providers and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and excellent communication skills to care for patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions.
* Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform age-appropriate physical examinations.
* Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate.
* Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, wound care, foreign body removal, and other office-based procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
