PainterWe are seeking skilled and reliable painters who will be expected to perform all stages of manufacturing painting and prep to paint in accordance with source documents and company procedures. Will paint a variety of items utilizing various materials. Must independently plan details of work, selecting method, equipment and process best suited for particular requirements.ResponsibilitiesPrepares surfaces for paint application by sanding, cleaning and masking; mixes paints according to requirementsCoats the surfaces of an aircraft or ground vehicle with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devicesRemoves old paint from aircraft, ground vehicle, or smaller parts using liquid paint remover and scraperInspects painted parts for defects like runs, snags and oversprayFollows established quality standards for painting processesDocuments paint application details and maintains recordsQualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience:One-year painting experience required
